CSIT 241 (16 Students and Responses)

(1) Good pace, requirements are all fair. Excellent teacher, no real weaknesses. Would definitely take another course with this instructor.

(2) The content is difficult.

(3) I enjoyed this course because I found it to be more challenging than the rest. Dr. Abu-Jeib has been the best professor that I've been taught by. I'd recommend him to other students without hesitation.

(5) A lot of material is covered in just one semester.

(6) Partial credit is a student's best friend, please use more.

(8) Good course, bad time, would prefer afternoons as I would have had better attendance. Great instructor! Highly recommend to any student who wants to learn. A student looking to slack off might want to reconsider, but those students are not who the course is designed for.

CSIT 221 (20 Students and Responses)

(1) Nice class, I learned a lot. Great professor. He knows his stuff, but he also relates to students and makes us understand the material. I'm excited to take more classes with Iyad.

(2) Good course, I enjoy programming. I took 121 with this professor and waited for 3 more semesters to be able to take 221 with him. He is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended to any student who wants to learn.

(4) Dr. Abu-Jeib quite honestly is the best teacher I have had in my life. His challenging teaching coupled with his great attitude is just the kind of personal teaching I need.

(11) The class lectures were much more valuable than the book reading. Also the online documents were extremely useful. Assignments helped solidify what we learned. I would definitely take another class with Dr. Abu-Jeib. I'm very excited to be taking discrete math with him next semester. He is very dedicated to teaching all the curriculum and making sure students understand it. Very funny great professor!
